Other combinations of thermocouples and tubes can be specified depending on your application. ! Type K

316SS Maximum service temperature 1600°F (780°C) in oxidizing atmospheres. Considered better than 304SS on corrosion. 310SS Maximum service temperature 2100°F (1150°C) in oxidizing atmospheres. Resists heat scaling. Carbon Steel Maximum service temperature 1000°F (540°C) in non-oxidizing applications. Typically used in galvanizing, tin, molten Babbitt, molten magnesium, petroleum applications and water lines. HR-160 Maximum service tempera- ture 2200°F (1204°C) in oxi- dizing and reducing atmos- pheres. Excellent resistance to sulfur, chlorides, and hot corrosion. Typically used in waste incineration.
