Maximum service temperature 1000"F (538"C) in oxidizing and reducing atmospheres, Excellent resistance to corrosion in aqueous chemical process applications including, ferric and cupric chlorides, sea water and brine solutions, chlorine, formic and acetic acids, wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide. lt is also frequently used in flue gas desulfurization systems, since it has excellent resistance to sulfur and chloride ions. Standatd, Plain with Flare A flare is provided to help prevent fraying or wearing of the insulation on the thermocouple element where it exits the tube. This is standard on all miniature tubes unless othenruise specified. '12" Part number example: 9M2-12 Tube, Compression Fitting The compression fitting is first screwed into place and then the tube is adjusted to the desired insertion length. The compression nut is tightened to compress the ferrule and lock the tube into place. To order, add CF to the paft number. Compression fittings are 316ss.

12" Part number example: 9M2-12-CF Tube, Hex Fitting

Hex fittings are used where a 112" x112" (NPT) connection is required on both the instrument and process side. The fittings are 316ss. To order this option, add HX to the part number.

12" Part number example: 9M2-HX-12 Tube, Plain, No Flare

A no flare option is available for applications where the increased O,D. of the tube is not desired. To order this option, add NF to the paft number. 12" Part number example: 9M2-NF-l2 Tube, Pointed Tip A pointed probe is used to penetrate a soft material such as food products. When used in any food applications a 316 stainless steel tube should be specified. To order this option, add PN to the part number.

12" Part number example: 16M2-PN-12

Standard lengths are multiples of 6" starting at 12" but any length can be ordered.
