Angle Thermocouple Assemblies -

Double Tube - Types B, E, J, K, N, R & S

The Richards Double Tube Angle Thermocouple Assemblies are designed for severe service applications. The double tube assemblies with a metal outer tube are for applications where mechanical damage and thermal shock to the thermocouple is a prob- lem. The double tube angle assemblies, which have a Silicon Carbide outer tube, are for applications where thermal shock and flame contact is a problem. Double ceramic tube angle assemblies are for extra protection against corrosive atmospheres. We offer many other combinations of double tubes, which we could not list in this catalog due to space limitations. Richards double tube angle assem- blies can be made from any type of metal or ceramic tube, which is available. Note: If you woutd like to order a Type E, J, or N, angle assembty, just substitute the K with a E, J, or N, in the part numbers list- ed on this page. lf you would tike to order a Type B, R, or S, assembty iust substitute the K with a B, R, or S, and the 8 with a 24 in the part numbers listed on this page. Example: The part number 24S6-P11 F-734XH-18-24-SH signif ies a double tube angle assembly, 24 gauge, Type S, 1 8" Mullite P1 1 F inner protection tube, 18" 734XH outer protection tube, 24" long cold leg, and a standard weatherproof aluminum head. Other combi- nations of thermocouples and ceramic tubes can be specified depending on your application.
