Plastic lndustry Thermocouples - Spring Adjustable lmmersion Bayonet Type

Spring adjustable immersion bayonet type thermocouples give you the flexibility to adjust to a variety of well depths from 1" to 7". The bayonet adapter allows the thermocouple to be quickly disconnected from the process. This type of thermocouple is frequently used in the plastic industry.

Spring Adjustable Bayonet Thermocouples have a maximum service temperature of 900'F (482"C) due to the rating on fiberglass inner insulation . The elements have varnish impregnated, fiberglass insulated, wire with a 304 stainless steel overbraid. The tips are 3116' in dianneter and made from 316 stainless steel. A grounded junction is standard to help prevent the elernent from pulling out of the tube and to provide a rapid temperature response time.
