Transmitters -

ln Head Style, Wiring Transmitter Wiring - TS and TSI TyPes

The typical wiring for the TS and TSI series transmitters are shown below. The system would include a transmitter, power supply and digital instrument. lf you have any difficulties with setting up your transmitter, our sales engineers are always available to provide technical support. Note: When wiring your transmitter the NEGATIVE wire of a thermocouple is always color coded RED. RTD's may have different color coding other than our standard Black, Black, Red and Red. As a general rule, connect two of the like colors to terminals #1 and #2 and one of the second colors to terminal #3. To connect the transmitter to your instrument, use our part number 20102-PP-S instru- ment wire on terminals # 5 and #6.

RTD - Black coded wire (Common) (Terminal #2)

RTD - Red coded wire (Terminal #3)

RTD - Black coded wire (Gommon) (Terminal #1)

Positive side of the power supply output.

Thermocouple - Negative (Terminal # 1)

Thermocouple - Positive (Terminal # 2)

PC Connection (Factory use only)

Positive side of the instrument input.

Negative side of the power supply output to the negative side of the instrument input.
