Example: The part number describes the thermocouple giving the gauge, type of wire, construction, tube length and mounting device, if any. The part num- ber 8K4-101 2XH-24-SH signifies an B gauge, Type K complete assembly, 112" extra Heavy tube , #10 alloy (32% nickel-21"h chromium) tube, 24" long, and a standard weatherproof aluminum head. Other combinations of thermocouples and tubes can be specified depending on your application. ! Note: lf you would tike to order a Type E or Type N asse mbly, just substitute the K with a E or N in the part numbers listed on this page.
